1. Data We Collect
QiwraLink collects minimal data to provide recovery services. This includes your account email, label names for your tags, and "Scan Event Data" (IP address, approximate location, and timestamp) when a tag is scanned.
2. Location Data & Consent
When a finder scans a tag, we request permission to access their browser's GPS. This data is only sent to the tag owner to assist in recovery. We do not store a permanent history of a finder’s movements; each scan is a standalone event.
3. IP Addresses & Blocking
We log IP addresses to provide the "Block IP" security feature. This allows users to prevent specific individuals from repeatedly scanning their tags. These logs are automatically purged after 90 days unless required for an ongoing security investigation.
Your UK-GDPR Rights
Under UK data protection law, you have specific rights regarding your information:
- The right to access: Request a copy of the data we hold on you.
- The right to erasure: Request that we delete your account and all associated logs.
- The right to restrict processing: Object to how we use your data.

4. Cookies
We use only "Essential Cookies" to keep you logged into your dashboard. We do not use tracking or marketing cookies that follow you across the web.
